This cube timer is an easy way to help you stay focused on your tasks. I recommend keeping the timer next to you as you are doing your task (homework, chores, practicing on a musical instrument, work, etc).
What I like about this timer is that it’s easy to use. You set the number side up to automatically have the timer count down. I used to have my daughter use a regular timer but she would always forget to press the “START” button.
The bad part is that you are limited to the preset time that is on the cube.
My daughter easily gets carried away doing a single task. This cube timer helps her to work on all her homework without getting stuck on one subject. She will continue this method of focusing on a task for 30 or 60 minutes and then take a break for 5 or 15 minutes until she is done with all her homework. This cube timer enables my daughter to manage her time more efficiently. 🙂

The purple has a preset of 5, 10, 20 and 30 minutes:
The white has a preset of 5, 15, 30 and 60 minutes (This is the product I own which has the best time intervals that work for my daughter):
The yellow has a preset of 5, 10, 20 and 45 minutes:
This cube timer may not work for everyone, but it has made a difference for my daughter. I occasionally have to remind her to use the timer but once she starts using it, she seems to get more done and is more focused on her tasks without burning out since the timer reminds her to take more frequent breaks.
